The kids seemed to love their trampolines.

So cute!!

Sneaking a bite while making cookies for Santa. We took the easy way out this year!

Santa Claus is so sweet :)!!!

Lacey loves Christmas too! Time for her to rest!

Someone was thankful that Santa left some cookies behind
Carly with the bracelet I made her. She didn't make it to the truck with it :)

She looks happy but she was fussing at those stinkin' boys because they were helping her open her presents. :) That's the sassiness coming out in her!!

She loved her kitchen!!!
Santa brought Lilly and Lola some special food.

He brought Lacey special food too!

I have been terrible about making posts. I am determined to get caught up! Last post - Carly's Brithday. Today's post - Christmas. Better late than never! This year our Christmas celebrations were more spread out than usual...and I was ever so thankful! Unfortunately we missed the Coomes' get-together because we went to Jason's parents instead. But we had a great time everywhere we went. My personal favorite....CHRISTMAS morning at HOME!! Carly was absolutely precious that morning. She slept later than ever but woke up ready to play. Carly and I started the morning playing hide and seek in order to get her to walk into the living room on her own. She stood in the middle of the living room for a minute saying "predents, predents" while pointing to all the toys Santa left for her. She went to her sink first thing to "wash hands." She was such a happy little girl! There's definitely something magical about Christmas!

Carly's Birthday Party Day!

Having an Elmo Birthday party was not my original plan. But since we were going to see Sesame Street Live on the morning of her party I decided to go with it. Plus, Carly LOVES "Melmo!" So, we went to see Elmo in the morning and then he helped us celebrate Carly's 2nd Birthday. She absolutely loved Sesame Street Live. When Elmo would exit the stage she would say, "Where'd Melmo go?" and when he came back "Dere he is!" At times she was plastered in her seat staring at the stage while at other times she was standing on my lap boucing up and down, clapping, and shouting! It was simply precious! The fun didn't end at the Riverpark Center. After naptime, Carly was suprised with a house full of Elmo and friends! We had a great day with family and friends.

Hugging Elmo before the show! This was a great show! She was so into it!
My friend (and coworker) Judy Hayden with granddaughters, Kate and Lexy.
Time to Party!!!
I love her cake!
some of the party guests
presents, presents, more presents!
Chrissy thought it would be funny to put bows in the boys hair...so did they!
Time to dig into the toys.
Can't believe she's already 2!
Blowing out her candle...this cracks me up!
I couldn't find a baby doll swing I liked so I got her this instead. I think she sits in it more than her baby dolls!
They sure know how to mess up a clean room!

Carly smiling for the camera..I love that face!!!

Carly and Faith
That's one tired little kitty cat!!!
Ok...so Chrissy has inspired me to update my blog. She made a post today so now I am working on one too. I can't let her show me up! I'm not really sure why I have gotten so far behind...maybe because I have somewhat gotten into photo editing. Not that I'm great at it, but I do think it adds a little to my pictures. It seems to take forever to finish a photo and by the time I'm done, I'm too tired to blog. But I am making it a point to get better!! We are making memories everyday that I never want to forget!!!
Way back in October my sister and I threw a Halloween party at our house. I was envisioning a "Monster Bash" but the only thing monster-y were the cupcakes. It didn't really matter, the kids still had a great time. And by the end of the night Carly was so wiped-out she fell asleep while I was getting her jammies...and I only left the room for a minute :)

ZOO Trips

My sister and I had big plans to take the kids to Louisville Zoo and then Boo at the Zoo later that night. But, as you know, with kids things don't always go as planned. We drove the 2 hours to the zoo and as soon as we pulled into the parking lot Carly got sick...and it continued for the hour and half we were in the zoo. But we made the trip to the zoo again on Saturday. Unfortunately Carter was sick this time. Come to find out her had a pretty bad ear infection. All in all the kids had a good time. But it was way too crowed for us! I heard there were over 12,000 people there and I believe it. Carly liked trick-or-treating but we are going to have to work on actually saying it and saving the candy. She was cracking me up because everytime she got a piece of candy she wanted to eat it and she hardly ever eats sweets. Oh, I forgot...it was the first time she got to ride on a "bool bus." She seemed to be thrilled about that!
